[Conviction Integrity Case & Discovery Assistance Review]
To learn more about the Justice Review Unit (JRU), please visit Attorney General Andrea Joy Campbell’s website at this link. This form is for a District Attorney’s Office who wishes to refer a case to the JRU that DAO prosecuted to conviction, received a claim of actual innocence from the convicted individual, and contains an identified conflict of interest. The DAO may also refer the matter to the JRU because of a lack of resources or another compelling identified reason. Finally, the DAO may refer a case for Discovery Assistance Review, technical assistance from the JRU on a discovery request related to an innocence claim.

Upon receipt of the DAO’s completed application, the JRU staff will follow up with the submitting agency. That follow up will include the request for additional information and documents from the criminal case under review to discuss the events that led to the conviction
