The MCAD is committed to ensuring that all people in Massachusetts understand their rights and responsibilities under the Commonwealth’s anti-discrimination laws.
As part of our work to eliminate discrimination, the Commission offers speakers for private- and public-sector events, providing organizations, educational institutions, businesses, and community groups with a direct opportunity to learn about the MCAD, its processes, and the laws it enforces.
MCAD speakers can deliver information and training on discrimination in employment, housing, public accommodations, education, and credit and lending. Presentations may also include guidance on best practices for preventing discrimination and supporting the MCAD’s mission.
To support meaningful engagement, the MCAD requests a minimum audience of 15 attendees for speaking engagements and will make every effort to accommodate all requests. For scheduling purposes, please submit requests at least 30 days in advance of planned event.
